Up first is a 4.5-star Google-rated off-road park within 1.5 to 2 hours of St. Louis. With over 100 acres of wooded trails with varying terrains, this is one family-friendly off-roading location that the entire family will enjoy. 2) St. Joe State Park ORV Area: Park Hills, MO

A little over an hour away, the St. Joe State Park ORV Area is one of the largest ORV parks in Missouri. Offering numerous different terrains and with over 2,000 acres of riding trails, the entire family will love jetting off between sandy flats and forestry trails while tackling plenty of challenging hills.

While there are not as many trails as the first two locations listed, the Potawatomi Off-Road Park still provides plenty of thrills courtesy of its 600-plus acres of wooded trails with plenty of creeks and small streams.

4) Washita MX & Off-Road Park: Farmington, MO

Another, albeit larger location, almost the same driving distance as the Potawatomi Off-Road Park, is the Washita MX & Off-Road Park in Farmington, MO. This incredibly impressive location offers over 1600 acres of terrain with over 20 miles of wooded motocross-style terrain. Wide enough for UTVs, this is a great location for beginners and advanced alike.

Local camping, restrooms, and showers make it easy to wash up after a day on the trails, and there is an MX track for people who want to enjoy local races. Perhaps the most dirt-bike-friendly location, this is the perfect solution for a weekend family getaway.

5) Brick’s Off-Road Park: Poplar Bluff, MO

Finally, there is the Bricks’ Off-Road Park in Poplar Bluff, MO. A perfect location for UTVs and ATVs, all trails have open layouts ensuring the whole family stays together for off-roading adventures. While there are deep mud pits, there are also plenty of beginner and intermediate trails.
